The British Columbia Archives and Records Service (BCARS) has the mandate to provide a recorded information management program for the British Columbia government and also acquires, preserves and makes available records of enduring value to British Columbia. BCARS maintains one of the most extensive web sites, both within the provincial government and among other institutions.
