Fishing
Report: May to October can produce two pound rainbow,
three pound lake trout and kokanee of up to a pound and a half.
Deep trolling is preferred for the lake trout but spinning lures
seem to be very effective for rainbow and kokanee with the kokanee
being specially attracted to wedding band spinners. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com
for angling information!
Viewscape:
Rolling hills covered with a mixed forest of deciduous and coniferous
trees, cover most of the area surrounding the lake with the south
shore being more hilly. At the east end you will also discover groves
of aspen which makes for spectacular colours in the autumn. Year
round residences as well as resorts and seasonal homes are in evidence
around the lake.
