Fishing
Report: Managed as a quality, fly-only lake, Pass provides
patient fly fishermen with a fine Rainbow fishery that produces
trout up to 6 lbs. and larger. Pass is considered a "moody" lake,
but fishermen who have perfected Chironomid presentations, will
be well rewarded with one of these Kamloops monsters. Best fished
in spring and fall during heavy Chironomid hatches, Pass Lake
should not be passed up while visiting the Kamloops area. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com
for angling information!
Isobel
Lake - Isobel Lake, a small lake with a surface
area of 14 ha. (34.6 ac.) is located a few kilometers east of
Pass. Stocked with Brook trout, Isobel provides good fall and
winter ice fishing. The Isobel Lake Interpretive Forest Site
provides a small 4 vehicle campsite with cartop boat launching.
There is also an additional group camping area that can be used
by reservation only.
Note:
Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start
fishing a new lake.
