Location:
From the city of Kelowna, travel
southeast on Hwy. #33 to the Hydraulic (McCulloch Reservoir) Lake
Road. Turn west (right) on this road, and then head south on a good
gravel road along the east side of Haynes Lake. Idabel is located
just a few kilometers south of Haynes Lake. Idabel is approximately
38 km. (23.5 mi.) southeast of Kelowna.

Fishing
Report: Idabel provides a good Rainbow and Brook trout
fishery with trout reaching up to 2+ lbs. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com

Lakes
Haynes
Lake - Haynes Lake is 55 ha. (136 ac.) in size and
can be found just north of Idabel. Good catches of 1-2 lb. Rainbows
have been reported. A large well developed BCFS campsite with
a good cartop boat launch is located at the lake.
Minnow Lake - Minnow Lake is basically a continuation
of Haynes and is a Rainbow stocked lake providing fishermen with
trout that reach up to 2+ lbs.
Pear
Lake - Pear, a Rainbow stocked lake, 14 ha. (35 ac.)
in size, is located just east of Haynes. It provides good quantities
of small trout. A boat launch is present at the lake and campsites
can be found at nearby Haynes Lake.
