Location:
Located northeast of the city of Vernon.
From Vernon travel east on Hwy. #6 to the small community of Cherryville.
Turn north at Cherryville on the road to Brenda Falls, and travel
for about 17 km. (10.5 mi.) to the south end of Sugar Lake.
Resorts
& Campsites:
1 resort with housekeeping cabins, store, campsites, and boat rentals.
In addition to the resort there are 5 BCFS campsites located around
the lake with boat launching. These sites range in size from small
3 vehicle sites to a very large 40 vehicle campsite.

Fishing
Report: Stocked yearly with 10,000 Gerrard Rainbows,
Sugar is reporting good catches of Rainbows up to 5 lbs. Dolly Varden
have been caught up to 12 lbs. Trolling various lures is the most
popular method of fishing for all species including Kokanee which
is also found in the lake. Sugar is an excellent family vacation
lake which is located in an area that has unlimited summer and winter
