Location:
From Quesnel, turn off Highway 97 onto the Nazko Road. Branch west
from the Nazko store for 15 km (9 mi). The access road is well signed,
but it should be noted it is also a busy logging road. Total distance
from Quesnel is approximately 125 km (77 mi).
Resorts
& Campsites:
A small Forest Service Campsite on the west side of the lake is
available for overnight camping or picnicking. There is a steep
incline to the lake with a gravel boat launch. There is also a private
resort on the east shore offering services and facilities.

Fishing
Report: The rainbow, often weighing up to seven pounds,
are best taken by fly fishing, spinning or trolling. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com
for angling information!
Viewscape:
The lake is surrounded by conifer covered rolling hills with a few
stands of poplar where logging had taken place.
Shoreline:
The steep banks are covered with a mixture of willows
and other deciduous trees eventually giving way to the conifers.
The shoreline itself is usually mud and gravel with yellow
water lilies and water grasses inhabiting the shallow waters.
