Resorts
& Campsites:
An excellent lake for the youngsters, or fly fishermen who want
to practice their presentation techniques. Helmer is blessed with
large shoal areas of good depth, great spawning habitat, and high
food sources. Action can be fast and furious for small Rainbows
up to 1 lb. Efforts are usually concentrated east of the island
where it goes from shallows to a 10 meter depth.

3 vehicle BCFS campsite with cartop boat launch. Surrey Lake,
a couple of kilometers north of Sussex, is 55 ha. (136 ac.)
in size and lies at an elevation of 1395 m. (4576 ft.). A resort
offering cabins and boats can be found on the lake. Like Sussex
Lake, Surrey is a consistent performer throughout the open water
season, with Rainbows in the 1 lb. range. Frogmoore Lakes, can
